A brief step by step guide on how to sell your home

  • Obtain a free accurate market valuation from Humble Roots and allow us to begin advertising your property
  • Line up a trustworthy conveyancer or solicitor to ensure all legal aspects are covered (Humble Roots can assist with this if required)
  • Wait for an acceptable formal offer - Remember that accepting an offer is not legally binding, and you can legally change your mind or accept a higher offer later 
  • Once agreed allow your legal representative to process the necessary questionnaires and legal contracts 
  • Once contracts have been exchanged then arrange your move out date which often is usually 7-28 days after the exchange
  • Complete the sale by allowing your legal representative to arrange the ownership of the property, process payment and handover keys
  • Settle all fees owed once funds have been received from the buyer
  • Enjoy your new home
